Whether you're a beginning or experienced computer user, we think you'll find our course easy to register for and easy to complete. If you ever have a problem or need help, we'll work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. You might also find the answers to some of your questions on our list of Frequently Asked Questions.

Help items are integrated throughout the Learning Management System. As you take our courses you will notice small buttons with question marks (?). Click on a button to view help information about the specific field or button. A second, smaller window appears. After viewing the help, click the Close button (the "X") in the upper right corner of the screen.

Menu Bar

In the upper right corner of the screen, you will notice a menu bar, divided into blue buttons with white text labels. This menu bar allows you to move around to various screens in the system. The buttons can change, based on whether you are logged into the system or not.

Click on a button on the menu bar to view the associated screen. When you are on a screen, the button for that screen turns red.

Following are the various buttons you might see:

Home:

Displays a screen that provides a brief description about the system and its powerful features. This is the start screen.

Login:

Displays a screen that you can use to log in to the system, if you are already registered. If you are not registered, click on the Registration button.

Registration:

Displays a screen that you can use to register for the system, if open registration is allowed. If open registration is not allowed (i.e. closed registration), you can view contact information for an administrator that can register you for the system.

Admin:

Displays the Administration screen. This screen changes based on your assigned user level and its associated permissions. The Student user level is the most common, which allows a user to view his or her course progress or modify a user profile. Other user levels allow users perform tasks such as viewing progress for multiple students, generating reports, configuring courses, registering students, etc.

Help:

Displays this screen. To return to the previous screen, click the Back button on your browser.

Logout:

Logs you out of the system. For security reasons, if you must leave your PC for any length of time, we strongly recommend that you log out of the system.

If you see a rectangular red button anywhere on the screen (except for the upper right menu bar), this is a button you will use to navigate the system or perform an action. For example, you might see a Login button or a Continue button.

Other pages also have red "callout" boxes on the right, middle part of the screen. These boxes display important information.
